Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect audio quality, comfortable, amazing battery life Comment: I've had this headset for several years now and am really impressed with it. I was concerned about audio quality when getting a Bluetooth headset, but this one has been amazing. I've used it for hours of conference calls, chats with the family, etc. and never felt like I was straining to understand people. Folks on the other end have told me they can hear me fine as well, with little transmitted road noise. It's quite comfortable as well. I've used it for hours at a stretch and you really almost forget its on your ear. It's reversible so you can put it on either ear. It also comes with a selection of ear buds that twist-lock on so you can adjust that for your ears. Perhaps the most amazing thing is the battery life. I don't know what its rated for, but despite use on a daily conference call, etc. I only had to charge it every few weeks. I changed jobs and didn't use it for a while, so it sat turned off in my car for months. I turned it back on and used it for several weeks before charging it again. The battery life is a good thing because the one drawback is that this thing has its own funky charger plug. It comes with a wall charger, but amazingly Plantronics doesn't even make a car charger for it. I picked up a third-party charger which works fine, but using something more standard like mini USB would be nice. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for the price Comment: First off, I must say that this is the only bluetooth earpiece i've ever used. So, I don't have much to compare it to. However, reviewing it independently, it is a great headset for the price. As long as you aren't in a noisy environment, you can hear clearly. And, the headset itself seems to pick up voice clearly. It will also pick up other little noises clearly... so be careful where you use it. lol It seems to filter out noises like wind well. Customer Rating: Summary: Best Blue Tooth Headset Comment: I love this headset. My first Plantronics Voyager 510 was stolen. I bought another brand to replace it and hated it. I then purchased another Plantronics, at a considerably higher price (thinking if the 510 was so good, then a higher priced one would be better). I was wrong! I ended up returning it and ordering the 510 again. It has excellent sound quality on both ends. It does not pick up the sound of the motor running when I am driving and delivers a clear crisp sound for my listener. Not to mention it is very reasonably priced. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent product at excellent price Comment: I always check Consumer Reports for ratings before purchasing goods. They rated this bluetooth as a "Best Buy" and it was rated excellent for sound quality. I figured that to be the most important feature in a bluetooth headset, so I ordered one some months ago from a seller on Ebay (for the same price as the 2 I bought on Amazon). I LOVE mine...so, for Christmas I ordered one for my husband and one for his daughter--ad they both LOVE them, too. If I have any 'criticism' whatsoever, it is that the headset is easily 'bumped off' the ear by a coat collar, etc., but its not like you wouldn't notice it ;-). The sound quality is excellent--so much better than trying to hold a rigid cell phone up to your ear to try to hear someone talking. My husband has diminished hearing and this has been wonderful for him, as he can adjust the volume accordingly. In short, we think these are great! Not only that, the price on Amazon is less than 50% of the manufacturer's website price. It is an excellent buy in my opinion. Customer Rating: Summary: Blue Tooth Headset Comment: Very good.
