I get done so much quicker than with my old set, and it doesn't jerk their hair because it can't handle the job, like my old clippers did. Now, my guys line up happily, to get their relaxing haircut. I would definitely recommend that people continue to purchase these. Wahl has really come thru. I would like a roomier container with hard sides but, all in all, I am very pleased. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Clipper Comment: I had a $10 Vidal Sassoon Clipper which was plain painful to use, used to tangle my hair, wasn't sharp enough, used to make a mess and would take forever to cut hair. This Wahl is everything that Vidal Sassoon wasn't. I bought this after much research and almost to point of resigning myself to getting my hair cut by a stylist. In short, the cutting surface is sharp and powerful, like the ones used in salons (I used to wonder how is it that the stylists clippers cut so effortlessly compared to mine) and in my case just 1 pass of this clipper was enough to cut it to the level I want. What used to take 1 hour to cut now takes only about 10 minutes, and I was able to do it on my own! It has many attachments and extras which may or may not useful but the clipper itself is a gem -- powerful and painless. Not very good overall Customer Rating: Summary: clipper o.k. for home use... trimmer does not work Comment: i am a professional stylist who does not work in a salon anymore - i bought this for family haircuts... the trimmer does not work... the clippers seem to work pretty well - the plastic guards are a bit flimsy and cheap - not very well made... i waited to long to do the first haircut with this and once i realized the trimmer did not work - it was to late to exchange this with amazon... soooooo i would save the money and buy just the clippers if you need this for home use... if you are a pro - spend the money and buy something a bit nicer - that's what i'm going to do next time...
