I purchased the kit which included 2 batteries for the same price as 2 replacement batteries for my old Panasonic's, and the drill is more powerful and compact than they are. The design is spaceage, almost too pretty to put to work, more of a coffeetable work of art. It's parked in the toolshed however and has been very useful. The price here on Amazon is better than at Home Depot, nice discount.
