Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: I-Go charger Comment: I think it was very silly that this product was recommended to be purchased along with the Kindle, but it does not have the proper linkage (tip?) that matches! So, there it is, in the box along with the kindle, and totally useless. Customer Rating: Summary: "Needs attachments to work" Comment: I thought I needed this for my Kindle to work. I didn't. Then I found out it needs attachments. If I can find another use for it I may keep it. Customer Rating: Summary: Four and a half stars - Comment: I'm ordering this item, but I have another iGo charger and have been very satisfied. (Which is why I'm buying another.) I found that my last cellphone charged faster with this charger than with the one that was provided with it, and the charge seemed to go deeper -- it lasted longer. I did agree with one reviewer above, though -- the tip that was supposedly specific to my phone (then, a Nokia) was fairly loose-fitting, and after just a few uses, it would fall out unless I was very careful to lay my phone flat and make sure gravity wasn't pulling on the cord at all. That seemed fairly inexcusable. And I resent that they overprice the tips. They also seem to slant their offers towards promoting certain manufacturers over others. I was looking at their gadgets on their website, and they have some deals where an item comes with several tips. It greatly added to the expense of the item, and the tips were often contradictory - if I go with one cellphone, why would I have 2 or 3 other brands, too? Plus I'm an Apple user, and none of the tips for any item were Apple-tips, so it seemed that they were practicing a prejudicial business practice. I would pay a premium for all the tips that were "included", but they'd all be landfill to me - not one tip was anything I could use. This seems a much better deal - just pay for the basic device, and pay for what tips you will need separately. But please, iGo, get it together about getting a proper fit. I rate it highly because the actual charging worked fine, and was superlative to the hack equipment that actually came with my old phone. Customer Rating: Summary: Tip not included ... yes this means you still have to spend over $10 to get this to work. Comment: VERY expensive and tip sold separately! That means you still have to buy the tip for an additional $10. In addition I had a hard time with the retractable system. Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: The product is not as versatile as indicated. Since it was on the page with the Kindle, I thought it was used for it overseas but it isn't. It also doesn't work on my Blackberry.
