I can only compare it to one other rechargeable shaver in another brand name & that one was horrible so compared to that one this one is awesome. I may go over the area 2 times to be sure I got everything but other than that I never have any stray hairs. This shaver keeps a charge for a lone time & charges pretty fast when needed. My only complaint would be that it's kind of scratch at the corners/edges. I get scratches every now if I don't hold the shaver just right. It's nothing real bad & it'll go away quickly but it sure hurts a bit. Overall, I'd recommend this shaver. I have not tried it in a wet environment. The one I bought is noisier than I prefer, but that is a small quibble.
