Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: My AeroGarden looks just like the picture! Comment: I love the AeroGarden I got for my boyfriend. It is so simple and all of the herbs sprouted within days. All of the plants are healthy and they taste delicious. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because I didn't realize that the AeroGarden would emit a glaring light. It is UVA/UVB light, which is good for keeping you happy during the winter months, but it is extremely bright and it took awhile to get used to it. If you're planning on keeping this in a spare room or your garage, it wouldn't be an issue. All in all, this is a great product and perfect for people who live in an apartment or like to grow things during the winter. Customer Rating: Summary: Now everyone can have an (almost) instant garden Comment: This is my first aero-garden that I have purchased and I have been nothing but impressed with it. The set-up was extremely easy and straight forward. The only thing of note on set-up was one of the bulbs was burned out. After calling aero-garden they quickly sent out a replacement bulb. The aero-garden is quite bright as other reviewers have mentioned so take that into account with your placement choice, it adds a nice night light to the house though! After two weeks my plants continue to thrive and I only wish that my traditional plants would do so well. Customer Rating: Summary: So far, so good! Comment: I purchased this item for my Dad for Christmas. He already has little plants growing and everything works as it should. The only problem he has had is that one of the bulbs has blown out already. We have contacted the company and hope that they will replace it for him. These bulbs should last at least 6 months...if not more. All in all, I would say it's a good product. Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed in Aerogrow Comment: I've had my Aerogrow for almost two years and just reordered (two International Basil kits). When one basil wouldn't sprout while the others were already out of their protective cup, I discovered the seed cup was empty. I wrote an email the same day(12/19/08) to ask that they replace that seed cup and if I'd ruined the 2nd package of seeds I'd broken into to get another of the same type seed (which is now sprouted).No response, wrote another one ten days later and received a robot answer that it did no good to write numerous emails and that they usually answered within a week. It had been 10 days! I then called customer support the same day(on hold for 40 minutes before leaving my phone number for their "speedy reply"). Today is January 4, 2004. and still no answer. I called the sales department on 1/3/09 the to complain so that it would be recorded (as you have to agree to be recorded) and the rep hung up on me when she couldn't get me off the line until I finished with the details, the second one let me record for their "auditing" of phone calls. As of today still no answer. So much for their "guarantee." It doesn't work. Customer Rating: Summary: Aerogarden Comment: It works!!!! I have had it for 3 weeks and i have tiny plants... ALL of my seeds have sprouted. The dill was very slow but it has started to grow in the last few days. Very happy with purchase. The light is very bright put it in a place the the light will not bother you. Im actually thinking about getting another one for myself, Gave one to family for Christmas and they love it as well.
